Nope, we aren’t talking about walking across hot pavement to the pool in the summer. It’s the section of buttons in the center of the Ribbon’s Home tab in Outlook.

Quick Steps are one-click buttons that can be configured to perform multiple actions at once.

Is there an e-mail that you send or forward to the same group of people, file in the same folder, create a task to follow up on or set up a meeting for regularly? If so, create a Quick Step and complete all of the actions with one click.

Here’s how:

1. In the Quick Steps group, click Create New.

2. In the Name box, type a name that best describes the quick step.

3. Select an action from the actions drop-down list.

4. If you have additional actions, click Add Action. There is not a limit to the number of actions you can add. To delete an action, click the X by the action that is no longer needed.

Now that e-mail can be handled with one click. For more detailed information watch this video.
