Funding

Last Updated on Tuesday, November 08, 2011 at 5:03 AM

Funding for education technology is made available to districts from state (KETS Offers of Assistance) and federal sources (E-Rate and No Child Left Behind). Schools can use the Implementation Plan as a tool to develop and maintain a district technology plan and budget, using state and federal technology funds.

  Federal Funding
Districts can utilize federal funds to implement their technology needs. Two such funds are E-Rate and No Child Left Behind.

  KETS Budget Resource Tool
These tools help districts develop a budget and plan for technology implementation.

  KETS Offers of Assistance
Districts can use the worksheets below to develop and maintain a technology budget and report their progress with matching local funds to Kentucky Education Technology Services (KETS) Offers of Assistance.
