New Forms and Instructions for Federal Cash Requests as well as ARRA Requests (Attachments)
The Federal Cash Request process allows e-mail transmission of the Federal Cash Request forms. As a part of this process, the district superintendents should sign a Statement of Assurance, identifying the individuals in their district office who are authorized to prepare and submit these forms electronically. This Statement of Assurance is the superintendent's blanket approval of these documents.
We are requesting that the Federal Cash Request Statement of Assurance forms be updated for the new fiscal year beginning July 1, 2011. Attached is the blank form to be completed. Please fill in the school district name and the names, position titles, and e-mail addresses of individuals who will be preparing and submitting Federal Cash Requests. The completed Statement of Assurance cannot be sent by e-mail to Frankfort. The Statement of Assurance must be printed, signed by the superintendent and mailed to Frankfort at the following address:
KY Dept. of Education
Division of Budgets and Financial Management

Odwalla Plant A Tree Program
Kentucky State Parks invites you to vote in the Odwalla Plant A Tree program, which sends funds to state park systems to plant trees. The ice storm last winter took its toll in Kentucky, and the parks can always use free trees.
There is still time to vote. Odwalla has dedicated $80,000 to this program, and there are still funds remaining. Kentucky is currently among the top states in the voting.
Please vote and spread the word to get more trees for Kentucky State Parks. Visit www.odwalla.com/plantatree/ (One vote per e-mail address.)
