Driver's Manual - Available Online, May 2009

Last Updated on Friday, December 02, 2011 at 5:04 AM

On behalf of Captain Tim Lucas, Kentucky State Police, I am forwarding the attached flyer regarding the Kentucky Driver’s Manual.  The Kentucky State Police is no longer providing Driver’s Manuals to the public as part of cost saving measures.  However, the Driver’s Manual is available online and the Kentucky State Police is asking our help in getting the message to teens about this change.  The Driver’s Manual provides important information about highway safety, laws and defensive driving.  It is also a good source of information regarding driver testing and licensure in the intermediate driver’s license phase.  The Kentucky State Police is asking each high school to place the attached flyer in a visible place in the schools where teens would have easy access to the information reflected in the flyer.  For further information regarding this flyer, please contact Captain Tim Lucas, Kentucky State Police, Driver Testing Branch at 502-226-7405 or via email at Tim.Lucas@ky.gov .

Thank you for your assistance in helping the State Police get this information to teens.
